Thank you to everyone who came to parent night last night. What a great turn out! Also thank you to all the generous people who took post-its from the "giving tree". I am so excited- The classroom already has a new runner rug from an anonymous donor.
In writers workshop today we worked on including ourselves in our stories because we are the most important part. As I conferenced with individual children we talked about adding detail and thinking about labeling important parts.
Tomorrow is Cafe Edgewood- (parents only) so after you drop off your child please think about going down to the front foyer and getting a cup of coffee and a bagel and relax while you listen to Edgewood band students perform.
